1. Enlarged Heart Muscles

People who consume salty foods too often may end up developing enlarged Heart Muscles. This is one of the long term side effects of eating salty foods too often, so make sure you don’t eat such things.

 

2. Kidney Diseases

It can cause kidney diseases such as kidney stones and many other kidney related problems. So there is need for you to stay away from salty foods especially when it comes to consuming them more than the body needs. In as much as salt adds taste to what we eat, there is still need to consume salty foods cautiously.

 

3. It can raise risk of osteoporosis

A common bone problem that affects women who have hit menopause. It can also affect men and normal old people and one of the things that may raise risk of someone developing osteoporosis is excess intake of salty dishes.

 

4. Stroke

This is perhaps one of the most serious if not the most serious negative effect of eating salty dishes or meals often.
