Well, in this article on EKO HOT BLOG we would be looking at some mistakes you must never make, while getting married.
1. Getting Married for beauty’s sake or physical attraction
It isn’t wrong to marry a beautiful lady or a handsome man, but making this your point of focus is a mistake that might be costly to your marital life. Apart from physical appearance, there are virtuous qualities that should be considered in marriage which includes the person’s philosophy about life, their attitude and idea of parenthood.
2. Marrying a person due to peer pressure or family victimization
We all have that friend or family member who is good at pressuring one with marriage talk, even to the point of referring someone to you. It is pivotal to understand that this phenomenon is normal, especially when you are of marriageable age, but the idea of being pressured to marry anyone brought to you might be detrimental later in the marriage. If you want to get married, marry at your pace, and don’t let anyone push you into marrying someone you don’t have feelings for.
3. Getting Married out of pity
It is normal to pity someone because of their poor condition or certain disadvantage, but making this the basis for your marriage with the person might only lead to regret. For a marriage to work, it first needs to be built on love and mutual understanding, but not pity.
4. Getting Married to enrich yourself or for financial gains
