4 Signs Of Stomach Ulcer You Shouldn’t Ignore

A stomach ulcer is a wound that develops in the stomach lining, oesophagus, or small intestine. It is usually caused by Helicobacter pylori (H. pylori) or a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug that weakens the stomach’s ability to produce the acid that helps break down food, thus leading to wounds developing in the stomach lining. It’s quite common and can also be handled, but if not attended to fast, it can also lead to fatalities.

This is actually one of the serious signs of stomach ulcer that should not be overlooked. This is because when there is an ulcer, there is an open wound that is still lingering in the stomach and as such, there will be blood in the stool. It is this blood in the stool that makes the stool appear dark or look like coffee.

2. Pain in the Stomach

This is another sign of stomach ulcer that is very evident and must also be looked into. When there is a wound in the oesophagus or stomach lining, the resultant feeling is certainly stomach ache or pain that never goes away. This stomach ache or pain usually makes a living literally unbearable for any person suffering from ulcer, so endeavour to see a doctor for proper checkup and possible treatment.

3. Bloating

Like I stated earlier, stomach ulcer can be caused by a bacteria or wrong lifestyle choices but in all, it has to do with wounds in the small intestine or stomach lining. Any person suffering from stomach ulcer might also feel unecessarily full even when he or she hasn’t had anything to eat. This is one dreaded signs of stomach ulcer.

4. Bloody Vomit
