1. Darker than normal urine colour
When the liver is not working well, you may experience unusually dark urine colour even after taking enough fluids. Sudden change of urine colour to dark should not be taken for granted as it could mean one is having liver related issues or the liver is about failing.
2. Itchy skin
The liver helps get rid of toxins from the blood but when it’s not working well, you may start feeling unusually itchy and even in some cases, notice rashes on the skin. If this happens to you, do well to see a doctor.
3. Blood in stool
This is another sign that may indicate or show that your liver is not working well. Sudden appearance of blood in your stool even with little to no symptoms should not be taken for granted because it may mean the liver is about failing or even something more serious like intestinal cancer.
4. Swelling of the ankles and feet
Swelling of the ankles and feet means the body is retaining water or fluid and this can only happen due to failure of either the liver or kidneys to play it’s role.
