One of the habits that might make your skin look older than your age is staying up late at night. This is because remaining awake might cause your skin to stop refreshing, making you appear old and unwell when you are actually healthy and young. Get enough sleep every night, and if you don’t get enough sleep one night, don’t blame it on a weak cause; instead, try to get enough sleep the next day.
Excessive alcohol drinking can make a person appear older than their actual age. Some people have become slaves to booze, and it is doing havoc on their health as well as their appearance. So, for your own good, make sure you cut back on your alcohol consumption.
Using straws to drink soft drinks, coffee, or even sodas can cause fine wrinkles on the face, which may be a sign of aging even if you aren’t yet retired. This isn’t to say you shouldn’t use straws because they have some advantages, such as reducing the effect of what you’re drinking on your teeth and gums, but if you can drink your beverage without one, do so.
Regularly rubbing your eyes can cause the muscles surrounding your eyes to weaken, resulting in under-eye bags and an older appearance.
