Smelly armpits make you uncomfortable and self-conscious even though it is a problem that many people have dealt with or are still dealing with. Are you tired of having smelly armpits or do you want to prevent it ?
First of all, you have to find out and remove what causes the smell. It might be the medicine or foods you are taking or even your hygiene.
In this article on EKO HOT BLOG we would be looking at some ways to prevent and eliminate armpits odours
1. Shower more often
Our body releases sweat to cool down. This sweat is usually odourless, however, when it settles and bacteria acts on it, it begins to smell. Bathing regularly will get rid of these bacteria.
2. Antiperspirants
These products help to reduce the amount of sweat by blocking your sweat pores temporarily. The less you sweat, the less odour that comes out of your body
3. Deodorants
Deodorants do not stop sweat but prevent it from becoming smelly. They are usually alcohol-based hence turning your skin acidic which prevents odour-triggering bacteria from forming.
4. Botox
A botox injection into the sweat glands will significantly reduce both sweating and odour. Botox injection is not a permanent solution, it wears off in a few months and has to be renewed again.
