  • Hon Deen Kadri 40-Day Fidau Prayer Holds January 16

EKO HOT BLOG reports that the 40-day Fidau prayer of late Hon Deen Kadri has been scheduled to take place on Sunday, January 16, 2022, the EKO Club International, ECI, disclosed in a statement.

Kadiri, 75, died on December 8, 2021.

According to a statement issued by the ECI Public Relations Officer, Hon Bisi Rokosu-Lawal and sent to EKO HOT BLOG, the Fidau prayer will hold at Lagos Island Local Government Secretariat, 173 Adeniji Adele Road, Isale Eko, Lagos.

“The Fidau prayer session, has been billed to hold at 12 noon.

“We enjoin all ECI members currently in Lagos to join the Kadri family and Eko Club of New Jersey for the 40 Days Fidau Prayer.

“May Almighty Allah forgive his sins and grant him Aljanat Firdaus Amen.

“Odun ajinna si ra o main,” the statement reads in part.

The remains of late Hon. Deen Kadri was committed to mother earth the same day according to Islamic rite.

The 8-day fidau prayer was held on December 15, 2022.

Brief profile of Deen Kadri

Kadri was born in Lagos on February 10, 1950, to Ayo and Gaffar Kadiri.

In 1972, Deen left Nigeria and headed to Paris, France, for some time, then settled in the United States for study. He worked as a research chemist until retirement.

Deen married Remmy Adewale in Lagos on July 14, 1979. Their union produced two children (Dupe and Dele).

In retirement, Deen was the Founder and President Emeritus of Eko Club of New Jersey.
