42-Year-Old Man Arraigned For Exporting 1.62kg Of Heroin
A Federal High Court in Lagos has docked a 42-year-old man, Obinna Adindu, for drug trafficking.
Obinna is standing trial for allegedly exporting 1.62kg of heroin, in a one-count charge preferred against him by the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA).

According to the prosecutor, Abu Ibrahim, the defendant who committed the offence on Oct. 12 was arrested the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos, during the outward clearance of passengers on board a Lufthansa Airline flight to Frankfurt in Germany.
Ibrahim said that heroin is a narcotic listed in the NDLEA schedule as restricted by law and trafficking and the offence contravenes the provisions of Section 11(c) of the NDLEA Act, Cap N30 Laws of the Federation, 2004.
The defendant pleaded not guilty and was granted him bail in the sum of N3 million with two sureties in like sum while the case was adjourned until Feb. 5, 2020.
