A 44-year-old man identified as Ezekiel Mahai has been arrested for allegedly raping an underage girl with special needs in Adamawa.
At the time of filing this report, our correspondent gathered that this case became the second rape case recorded in the past few hours.

However, the incident happened at Prakwanta Village after the suspect had carefully monitored that his victim’s mother was away.
Confirming the report, the spokesperson of the state police command, DSP Suleiman Nguroje, said, Mahai allegedly raped the girl in Prakwanta Village, after carefully monitoring the movement of his victim’s mother before raping her.
“The victim is now undergoing medical screening while the suspect has been taken into custody for investigation and prosecution,” Nguroje said.
