The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control on Thursday disclosed that the country has recorded 131 new cases.
The agency made the disclosure in its daily situation report of COVID-19 on its official twitter page.
According to the agency, of the 131 cases, 45 were detected in Lagos, 17 in Kaduna, Plateau-17, FCT-16, Delta-6 Niger-6, Kwara-5, Oyo-3, Akwa Ibom-2, Cross River-2, Ekiti-2, Enugu-2, Osun-2, Sokoto-2, Bauchi-1, Ebonyi-1, Katsina-1, Rivers-1.
This brings the total number of confirmed cases in Nigeria to 56,735 with 48,092 discharged
and 1,093 deaths recorded.
