4th Edition Of RSW Kicks Off

The 4th edition of ‘Ready Set Work’, RSW, initiative by the State Govt kicked off over the weekend with a strict warning to the participants to be guided by the RSW rules or get disqualified from the programme.

The programme would continue for the next 12 Saturdays of 6 weeks interactive training session and 6 weeks on line session within the campuses of Lagos State University, and Lagos State Polytechnic.

The students were advised to play by the set of rules tagged “The Rule of Seven” meant to guide the overall conduct of the participants throughout the period of the RSW.

The Consultant to the State Government on RSW, Sade Oshun encouraged the students to make punctuality their hallmarks, stressing that lateness reduces the chances of the students from graduating.

She added that the ‘Ready Set Work’ apart from empowering and expanding the horizon of the participants, also seeks to instill discipline, good job ethics, and comportment into the consciousness of the participants.

The participating schools in the 2019 4.0 RSW are final year students of Lagos State University, LASU, Lagos State Polytechnic, LASPOTECH, Lagos State College of Nursing Igando and CALEB University.
