The idea of sitting on the water closet seat for stretches of hours can affect the vein in the lower rectum which can lead to a swell or irritation at the buttock. This practice can also increase the risk of being infected by bacteria.

2. Carrying your phone to the toilet

The toilet is not a safe place to keep the phone due to the presence of bacteria. 4. Flushing with the toilet seat lid closed

For some reason, most people prefer to flush their waste in the water closet, most especially the solid one with the lid closed. Conforming to such a practice will only increase the possibility of not having all the waste removed from the surface. The rationale behind leaving the lid open while flushing is to be sure your waste was completely removed.
