Olive oil is one of the most popular types of oils in the world. In Nigeria, only a few use it to cook, rather we use it in church, and the like as ‘anointing oil’.
However, do you know that aside from using this oil to anoint yourself, you can prevent and manage a wide range of chronic diseases by drinking it often?

Stroke is one of the most common causes of death worldwide. Many people are at risk of developing a stroke at one point or the other in their life. However, studies have shown that olive oil may help prevent stroke.

4. Type 2 Diabetes
Studies have shown that olive oil helps to regulate blood sugar levels and improve insulin sensitivity. Thus, it may help reduce your risk of type 2 diabetes.
