Some prominent Nigerians, especially entertainers passed away in the month of July.

Sound Sultan
Nigerian woke up to the shocking death of Olanrewaju AbdulGaniyu Fasasi popularly known as Sound Sultan on July 11, 2021.
The multi-talented musician passed away at 44 following a hard fought battle with Angioimmunoblastic T-cell Lymphomia.
His colleagues in the entertainment industry paid glowing tributes to a man they described as kind-hearted, inspiring and humble.
Zainab Booth
Popular Kannywood actress, Zainab Booth died on July 1 aged 61.
Zainab is known in the Hausa movie industry for the motherly roles she plays in movies. She is the mother of actress Maryam Booth.
She died after a brief illness in Kano, according to her daughter in a social media post.
Rachael Oniga
Veteran actress, Rachael Tabuno Oniga, passed on late Friday July 30 at the age of 64.
Oniga reportedly died of heart complications after returning from a movie set in her Lagos residence.

She is popular for her roles in movies such as ‘Onome’, ‘Owo Blow’, ‘The Royal Hibiscus Hotel’, ‘The Wedding Party’, ‘Out of Bounds’, among others.
Tope Ajogbajesu
Tope Ajogbajesu, half brother of gospel music duo ‘The Ajogbajesu Twins’ also died in July.
His bandmate, Jide Ajogbajesu, who announced his Demise, wrote: “With a painful regret that I am informing you that we lost our beloved one, Tope Ajogbajesu.”
Felix Odey (Feladey)
Felix Odey’s death was announced in the early hours of Thursday, July 29, 2021.
The multi-talented musician and producer was said to have complained of fever before he passed on.
