During his visit, he promised to liberate the people of ibarapa as he asked all Fulani herdsmen believed to be the brains behind the kidnapping and killings in the area to leave Ibarapa.
The series of events that followed led to the burning of houses and cars in the settlement of Seriki Fulani allegedly by Yoruba Youths.
This made the leader of the Fulani Settlement in Ibarapa, Saliu Seriki leave Ibarapa shortly after the crises.
Some months ago, Sunday Igboho in collaboration with the Yoruba Ethnic group launched the Oduduwa currency for the proposed Oduduwa Republic.
The image of the currency, known as “FADAKA, was posted on Twitter via the group’s handle, @OduduwaRepublic, on Sunday in which it was announced that the new currency will be called ‘FADAKA’ Meaning Silver.

(1). Pastor Adeboye
Few days ago, The popular freedom fighter popularly known as Sunday Igboho in an interview disclosed that he would not offer his condolences to Pastor Enoch Adeboye, the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God over the death of his son, Pastor Dare Adeboye because the cleric refused to support agitations for the Yoruba nation.
Igboho complained that Pastor Adeboye has a large congregation in Nigeria but he didn’t speak about the Yoruba Nation to them.
Following the negative reactions on social media, Sunday Igboho came out to deny mocking Pastor Adeboye, praying that “may God forgive the dead and the soul of Pastor Dare rest in peace.”

(2.) Ooni Of Ife
Popular Yoruba Rights activist, Sunday Igboho, some months ago, verbally attacked the Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi during a virtual town hall meeting in which he insulted Ooni of Ife by alleging that he collected money from President Buhari that led to his refusal to speak the truth about how the Yoruba people are suffering at the hands of Fulani herdsmen in Yorubaland.
(3.) Oluwo Of Iwoland
The freedom fighter, Sunday Igboho also criticized Abdulrasheed Akanbi, the Oluwo of Iwo, for calling himself an Emir. He said some Yoruba leaders have turned themselves into slaves of the ethnic tribe that oppresses their people because of money.
In response to the allegations, Oba Akanbi noted that he was turbaned when he became the Oluwo of Iwo Land. According to the monarch, Iwo land is ‘Ilu Afa’ home of scholars, an Islamic ancient town, and a citadel of Islamic learning.
He explained futher that the new tradition in Iwo is that the king must be turbaned and not crowned on the day of his installation as the Oluwo.
(4.) Asiwaju Tinubu
Sunday Igboho also verbally attacked the National Leader of the All Progressive Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu by calling him a Fulani’s slave.
Sunday Igboho disclosed that he is not afraid of anyone because he is not collecting money from anybody. He described himself as a Yoruba man and that he will not allow Fulani people to enslave him.
(5.) Governor Seyi Makinde
He verbally attacked Governor Seyi Makinde as he called him a slave to the herders because of his second-term ambition.
In the long run, some people advised Sunday Igboho to stop attacking Yoruba leaders, saying they are not speaking up because of respect for the Nigerian constitution.
However, Mr. Sunday Adeyemo apologized to some of these leaders.
