1. Your child seems tired and sleepy every time

3. Unusual Frequent Urination

Due to high amounts of sugar in the child’s bloodstream, he or she will be visiting the restroom frequently. The extra sugar followed by water goes into the urine hence the child has to relieve himself or herself more frequently.

4. Excessive Hunger

The child also feels very hungry every time. Due to the inability of the body to use glucose properly, the child will need to eat more to fuel the body. Increased hunger is a warning sign of diabetes in children.
