5 Year-Old Boy Killed By Inferno Outbreak In Igando

The Lagos State Police Command has confirmed the death of a 5 year-old boy who died in an inferno.

The inferno occurred at No. 4, Ben Okonkwo street, Igando area of Lagos State.

The Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), DSP Bala Elkana, revealed this in a press statement on Sunday.

Elkana noted that a distress call was put across to the Igando Police Station informing the station of an inferno that broke out at the stated address. Adding that the value of the affected property was yet to be determined.

He said “the combined efforts of the Police and fire service led to the rescue of other occupants of the building and prevented the fire from escalating.
