53 Arrested Over NYSC Camp Looting – IGP

– Police operatives arrest looters of Abuja NYSC camp

– Police to punish arrested looters 

– Few looters return looted properties 

No fewer than 53 persons have been arrested by security operatives over property looted at the orientation camp of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC), Kubwa, Abuja.

PUNCH stated that Inspector-General of Police, Mohammed Adamu made this known on Friday, while speaking with a journalist during an on-the-spot assessment of the NYSC camp in conjunction with the NYSC Director-General, Brig. General Ibrahim Shuaibu.

He further stated that everyone involved in stealing kits and other items would be punished accordingly.

He added that a few numbers of the looters have, however, voluntarily returned some of the items that were stolen.
