62 in Lagos As Nigeria Records 220 New COVID-19 Cases — Total Now 2388
Nigeria on Saturday recorded two hundred and twenty new COVID-19 cases, the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control has disclosed.
The agency made the disclosure in its daily situation report of COVID-19 on its official twitter page.
The 220 fresh cases on Saturday makes it the third consecutive day that the country has recorded over 200 cases in a single day.
According to the agency, of the 220 new cases, 62 are confirmed in Lagos, 52 in Abuja, 31 in Kaduna, Sokoto 13, 10 Kebbi, 9 Yobe, 6 Borno, Bauchi and Edo 5, Gombe, Enugu and Oyo 4 each, Zamfara 3, Nasarawa, Osun, Ebonyi, Kwara, Kano and Plateau with 2 cases each.

This brings the total number of confirmed cases in Nigeria to 2388, out of 385 have been discharged and 85 deaths recorded.
Meanwhile, Kano which recorded nearly half of the total cases reported in the last couple of days witnessed a significant drop in cases with just two reported today.
