71 In Lagos As NCDC Confirms 151 New Cases

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control on Friday disclosed that the country has recorded 151 New cases of COVID-19.

The agency made the disclosure in its daily update and situation report of the virulent infection.

According to the agency, no fatality was recorded on Friday which leaves the death toll standing  at 1,113.

63 patients were also certified free from the infection and discharged after testing negative again.

Of the new cases, Lagos tops the list of positive samples with 71 persons infected, followed by ogún with 26 Cases and Kaduna 17.

The latest developments brings the total number of confirmed cases in Nigeria to 59,992 with 51,614 discharged.
