Nigerian Afro pop singer and vocalist, Yemi Eberechi Alade, has expressed her displeasure over the recent appointment of Ibrahim Gambari as new chief of staff.
Ekohotblog reports that President Muhammadu Buhari confirmed Gambari few hours ago as chief of staff, a replacement for Abba Kyari who died on April 17 from Coronavirus.
However, Yemi Alade reacted with a hint that the president should have chosen someone younger as she imagined what on Earth a man almost becoming an octogenarian could do.

Alade said only God would save Nigeria given its penchant for electing and appointing people who are advanced in age into strategic offices.
“75 years old as chief of Staff. God save Nigeria,” she wrote on Twitter.
Her comment comes against the backdrop of several movements canvassing for youths’ participation in governance.
