Amid partial lock-down occasioned by Coronavirus Pandemic in Ibadan, an eight month old male baby identified as Timilehin Owoseni fell off the Veranda of his parents house in the early hours of today
The house which is a two storey building is situated at Ring Road area of the ancient city of Ibadan.
Ekohotblog gathered the family stay on the upper part of the building.
This online news platform gathered that the mother of the baby Mrs Titilayo Owoseni was busy making breakfast in the kitchen while she put the baby in care of his four year old elder sister.
The father of the boy who own and manages a pharmacy was out of the house when the incident happened
The landlord name withheld said it was the landing noise of the baby’s fall and the scream of his elder sister that alerted him and made him rush out of his own apartment, only to find out baby Timilehin had crawled and fell off the veranda and was bleeding all over his body
The baby was rushed to the nearest hospital and efforts to talk to his parents has been futile.
The Oluyole Police spokesman while reacting to the incident advised parents to take good care of their children during the stay-at-home period stressing the the fact the lock-down is for the good of the people of oyo state.
