80th Birthday Lecture For Abayomi Finnih To Hold Feb 10th

Dr Oluyomi Abayomi Finnih, a true Lagosian, a distinguished obstetrician and gynaecologist, will be celebrating a milestone, 80th birthday, and friends family members are sparing no efforts to make the event a memorable one.

As part of activities to mark the event, there will be a lecture in his honour at the Greetings Hall, Yoruba Tennis Club, Onikan, on Thursday, February 10th, 2022 by 11 am.

According to the statement signed by the Chairman, 80th Planning Committee, Olawumi Gasper, “The 80th birthday of our mentor and political father, Chief Dr. Oluyomi Abayomi Finnih, Ba’Segun of Lagos and Vice Patron of Yoruba Tennis Club, comes up on February 9, 2022.”

The guest lecturer at the event, titled: “Nothing to hide,” is Chief J.K. Randle, Bashorun of Lagos and past president of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN).

Gasper maintained that the planning committee is delighted to invite all key stakeholders in the polity to the lecture, adding that their contributions are immensely appreciated.

Dr. Finnih is a distinguished obstetrician and gynaecologist, as well as chairman and Chief Medical Director of Finnih Medical Centre.

He is also a former President of the Society of Gynaecologists and Obstetrics of Nigeria (SOGON) and a fellowship member of numerous professional bodies, both nationally and internationally.

Dr. Finnih is the Secretary of the Board of Trustees of the prestigious Yoruba Tennis Club.

He is a politician and also a member of the Governor’s Advisory Council. Dr Finnih is a peace lover and likes having pleasant people around him.
