– The Commissioner for Health, Prof Akin Abayomi has disclosed has disclosed that COVID-19 cases in Lagos State may reach the peak in August.

– The Commissioner made this disclosure during the ongoing media briefing at Bagaulto Kaltho Press Centre.

Lagos state Commissioner for Health, Prof. Akin Abayomi has disclosed that COVID-19 cases are likely to peak in the month of August.

He said this during an ongoing press briefing at the Bagaulto Kaltho Press Centre in Alausa.

He states that “Based on postulations, COVID-19 cases are like to peak next month; we are hoping it peaks soon and the curve eventually gets flattened.”

Lagos is one among the States in Nigeria with high concentrated cases of COVID-19 amounting to 13,806, followed by the Federal Capital Territory with 3,297 cumulative cases
