Ize-Iyamu Wrote Ex Gov. Igbinedion’s Manifesto, Derailed Implementation -PDP
– Group Says The Financial Crimes Against Him By APC’s EFCC Attests To His Questionable Background.
The coalition of Intelligentsia for Justice and Rule of Law, PDP-CIJRL), has said that Mr. Osagie Ize-Iyamu, the September 19 governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC, cannot be serious about the genuineness of his SIMPLE AGENDA, judging from his past antecedents as a compromiser, incompetent and unreliable individual in governance.
The group in a statement on Saturday by its Scribe, Fred Latimore Oghenesivbe Esq pointed out that Osagie Ize-Iyamu wrote the manifesto of the former governor of Edo State, Chief Lucky Nosakhare Igbinedion and was subsequently appointed as Secretary to Edo State Government, SSG, to enable him to supervise the implementation of the manifesto but Ize-Iyamu failed woefully.
He noted that the abysmal performance of Igbinedion administration was as a result of the poor quality of advise by Ize-Iyamu whom the governor trusted so much and never doubted his recommendations, adding that Igbinedion became helpless after he discovered that Ize-Iyamu was incompetent, unreliable and unscrupulous in his service to the him, the state government and to the good people of Edo State.
The Coalition of PDP Intelligentsia further disclosed that Igbinedion and Ize-Iyamu parted ways after series of legal battles with financial crimes agencies of government occasioned by the dishonesty of Ize-Iyamu which led to his defection to APC and from APC back to PDP and from PDP to APC; jostling for unholy opportunities to be in control of Edo State treasury for another round of looting. God forbid!
PDP-CIJRL noted that the SIMPLE AGENDA of the APC candidate is a mere document of deceit and fraud crafted by Ize-Iyamu to manipulate and politically colonize Edo people into another round of comprised looting of the state resources as he did with Igbinedion’s manifesto between 1999 and 2007 eight years tenure of Igbinedion administration in the State.

Osagie Ize-Iyamu became a consolidated billionaire after Igbinedion’s tenure judging from his high profile investments, real estate, liquid cash, and monies laundered.
“Ize-Iyamu aka Kpelebe is the leader of political thugs in Edo State, as it was in his days and years at the University of Benin, where he reigned supreme as the most dreaded student on campus. His background is crowded with multifaceted ugly tales ranging from arrogance, wickedness, and brutality to consistent unscrupulous deals as disclosed by Adams Oshiomhole in 2016, and as can be seen from the ongoing financial crimes charges pressed against him by the Economic And Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, involving a whopping sum of N700 million.
“His so-called much publicised Simple Agenda is but a document of deceit and political colonization which can safely be interpreted to mean ” Simple Fraud.”
“Ize-Iyamu was the most powerful man during the eight years of Lucky Igbinedion’s tenure and he used his enormous official powers to manipulate the Governor and the government, looted funds recklessly as claimed by Oshiomhole, and at the end, Chief Lucky Igbinedion was left in pains and agony by Ize-Iyamu, who quickly defected from PDP to APC, and from that moment till now, he became acute political prostitute and shameless power sicking individual.
“Edo people cannot be fooled by Osagie Ize-Iyamu and his fraudulent document called Simple Agenda and in the same token Adams Oshiomhole cannot rescue him from the past negative postures and odious antecedents of the APC September 19 ratified governorship candidate.
“Edo State is not and can never be the personal property of Oshiomhole. He has no moral justification to determine who becomes the Governor of Edo State, only Edo people will decide who becomes their governor on September 19. No more, no less!
“Godwin Obaseki is the choice of Edo people in this dispensation as a result of his enviable performance and refusal to share Edo people’s money with the looting cabal represented by Ize-Iyamu and Adams Oshiomhole. Their evil conspiracy as rightly predicted by Prophet Ayodele Elijah, shall fail woefully and light will surely prevail against darkness, come September 19,” the group assured.
