BREAKING: Edo 2020: Commissioners, Special Adviser Dump Obaseki, Declare Support For Ize-Iyamu

Three new commissioners in the Edo State Oil Gas Producing Area Development Commission (EDOSOGPADEC) have resigned their position today, Monday. Ekohotblog reports

The commissioners included Prince Emmanuel Odigie, Alhaji Aiwanu Oshiomhole, and Osamwonyi Atu representing Edo Central, Edo North Senatorial districts respectively, and Orhionmwon.

In the same vein, another Special Adviser, Hon. Bright Njor of the Ugbeka Ward 03, has resigned his position.

In their publicly-available resignation letters, the Commissioners and Special Adviser pledge support for the ruling party, All Progressive Congress’s candidate, Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu ahead of the 19th of September election.

Their resignations came on the back of similar resignations of Commissioners and other senior aides last week, marking the continuation of the mass abandonment and rejection of the incumbent Governor Godwin Obaseki by his closest aides and appointees.
