Breaking!!! 104 Unity Colleges Reopen Amidst Strict Monitoring, Says FG

– The Federal Government has disclosed that the 104 unity schools would reopen on Tuesday.

– The Minister of State for Education stated this at the a virtual meeting with the 36 States Commissioners for Education.
-The statement further revealed that the Permanent Secretary and Directors would embark on monitoring in order to ensure compliance.

The 104 unity schools will reopen to SS3 students from tomorrow, Minister of State for Education, Chukwuemeka Nwajiuba has said.

The Minister made the announcement at the end of a virtual meeting with Commissioners of Education in 36 States and other stakeholders on Monday.

In a statement by the Director, Press and Public Relations, Federal Ministry of Education (FMoE), Ben Goong, the lauded the Principals of the Colleges for the comprehensive preparation put in place ahead of tomorrow’s resumption.

The Ministry’s Public Relations Officer maintained that as from today, the Honourable Minister of State for Education, Permanent Secretary and Directors will embark on an assessment tour of all Unity Colleges to ascertain and confirm the reports they have received from the Principals of Unity Colleges,” the statement said
