Heartfelt Tributes, Earnest Encomiums Pour In As Pa Victor Odofin-Belo Is Laid To Rest

Family members, Dignitaries, Friends and Associates all trooped in to the lying in state of Pa Oluwole Victor Odofin-Belo to pay their last respect to an exemplary state man.

The Venue was the St Peters Chuch (Faji) Event Hall, Ajele Street, Lagos Island, Lagos.

Pa Victor Odofin-Belo below was a man of many seasons, a man of timber and calibre.

He wielded so much influence and commanded so much respect when he was alive and this deference to his person still remains even in death.

The high esteem with which the Olympic and Commonwealth medal winner was and still being held was portrayed in tribute, eulogy and and ecomium that were showered on him by those present at his lying in state.

A common acknowledgement that permeates the tribute of every soul who spoke about Pa Victor Odofin-Belo was his enduring  believe in hardwork, spirit of brotherhood, love, sincerity and his unflinching commitment towards advancing the cause of humanity.

His accomplishments and successes were as immense as his imposing physique.

He was widely celebrated both in Nigeria and abroad. His race on earth was one.

The Nigeria commonwealth and Olympic medalist Pa Victor Odofin-Belo was finally laid to rest at Ikoyi Cemetery on Thursday, August 13th, 2020.
