Sex For Grades: Kiki Mordi Bags Emmy Nomination
Nigerian journalist, Kiki Mordi bags Awards nomination for News & Current Affairs category in the International 2020 Emmy award.
Kiki Mordi announced news of her nomination on Tuesday via her twitter account.
Kiki Mordi wowed the internet after the release of the “Sex for grades” documentary.

She and her BBC Africa Eye team released a 13-minute documentary that exposed sexual harassment meted out to students at the University of Lagos and the University of Ghana by lecturers.
The documentary led to a revolution against the exchange of sex for grades among some university lecturers and, at the same time, brought the journalist to the International audience.
“Here’s me, despite being an emotional mess, announcing that BBC Africa Eye‘s #SexForGrades is nominated in the ‘Current Affairs’ category for this year’s International Emmys,” Mordi tweeted.

Mordi’s nomination at the Emmys comes after she had won the People’s Journalism Prize for Africa and also months after she had been nominated for The Future Awards Africa.
