Lagos State Govt Lists Modalities For Reopening Hospitality, Tourism Establishments
The Lagos State Government has issued some modalities and placed protocols and rules in place of hospital implementation and tourism establishments for reopening of business activities in the state.
The Honourable Commissioner for Tourism, Arts and Culture, Mrs. Uzamat Akinbile-Yussuf said Lagos State has issued new rules that affect establishments and that the protocols are set to ensure health safety of all guests, staffs and all facilitators.
She said the new guidelines and rules will affect establishments such as hotels, motels, apartments suites, inns, guest houses and the likes of entertainment places.
She instructed that all owners of food
establishments, eateries, lounge and others, must maintain two metres spacing on the floor to guide customers in physical and social distancing.

The commissioner also said that at any events, occupants must not exceed 50% capacity of the hall and must not spend more than three hours for any event. “Events centres sitting arrangements must also comply with the two metres physical spacing and all tables must be set at least five metres scary in order to maintain safe distance and swift locomotive” she said.
She warned against violations of the stated conditions by event centre owners and party planners, stressing that breakage will attract a sum of one million natural.
