I give glory to Almighty God who has made today possible. My dream is to promote the youths, especially the jobless. We will try to provide job opportunities. They will be taught how to braid, how to make “adire” fabrics locally. We will establish the widows.
“We have to educate our girls first, teach them how to behave in public so that they wont be harassed any how. They will also be taught how to have confidence in themselves so that when such things happen to them, there will be a way to defend themselves. Whoever perpetrates acts like rape, sexual molestation and harrassment will not go scot free. We are not going to take it likely at all in this community. Offenders will face the full wrath of the law”, she said.
She further enjoined women in positions of authority to take care of their home especially the husband. When you take care of your home, your attitude speaks a lot about the kind of woman you are whether good or not. Women have to join hands and support each other to promote the community, our dear state and beloved country at large”, Olori Yetunde said.
