One of the Sustainable Development Goals adopted to enhance sustainable living is SDG 17 which creates room for stakeholders from both coropate bodies and government institutions to collaborate and forge a strong alliance to lift societies. This is definitely one of the hallmarks of FABE International Foundation, Lekki Lagos, Nigeria, an organisation which aims at promoting environmental sustainability, ending poverty, hunger and Climate change for sustainable living.
Presently, the NGO is expanding its tentacles to hard to reach communities in Lagos which include Epe, Badagry and Ikorodu. These communities have benefitted immensely through the EcoSchoolsNg project sponsored by Access Bank and ACT Foundation.

Some of these practices are waste management, waste sorting, upcycling, recycling, organic farming, tree planting. All these sustainable practices are expected to be passed on to thousands of children in schools and communities.
Come Saturday 19th September 2020, Epe Marina, a historic and culturally relevant shoreline in the community would witness the clean up exercise to commemorate World Cleanup Day 2020.
It is ably organised by Eco Coordinators Group ( ECO-CG ), a group of trained teachers on environmentally sustainable practices with the support of Epe Local Government Environmental Department. The exercise is also being supported by FABE International Foundation, EcoSchoolsNg and sponsored by ACT Foundation and Access Bank.
The exercise will witness series of enlightenment campaign on environmentally sustainable practices with music and food. It is strategically planned to accommodate 20 participants per group so that COVID protocols, health and safety guidelines would be strictly adhered to.
