• Lagos state governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has appealed to residents of the state to remain calm despite the crisis in the state.

Lagos States’s Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu has pleaded with residents of the state to remain calm despite the crisis in the state.

Recall that the state was thrown into mayhem on October 20 after security agents shot at End SARS protesters at the Lekki tollgate.

In a video recording in which he spoke in Yoruba, the governor expressed sadness that a peaceful protest by the youths was hijacked by thugs. He appealed to parents to prevail on their wards to stop the destruction of properties in the state.

According to him, the security operatives will do everything to restore law and order in the state.
