Free Advice On How To Recover Your Frozen Bank Accounts- Lawyer Tells Affected #EndSARS Promoters

Human rights lawyer, Barrister Inibehe Effiong gave an advice to the youths whose bank accounts were frozen on the step they should take to recover back their accounts.

After a federal high court in Abuja reportedly granted the request of the CBN to freeze the bank account of some youths who participated in the end SARS protest which took place across the country in October.

A human rights lawyer, Barrister Inibehe Effiong has given an advise to the youths whose bank accounts were frozen on the step they should take to recover back their accounts.

Giving the advise on his Twitter handle, the lawyer said,

“Free advice to #EndSARS protesters whose bank accounts have been frozen:

Before you go to court or take any legal action, apply for and obtain the CTC of the ex-parte motion with the affidavit and other processes filed by the CBN Governor.

Thank me later.”

Some of the youths who are popular Twitter influencers have been reacting to the court ruling.

Adegoke Pamilerin, who is among the 19 whose accounts were frozen said his account has been frozen for the past two weeks even before the CBN got the court order. See his tweets below.

Another one of the youths whose face was popular during the protest, wondered why her name was on the list when all she did was to ask the police to stop killing the youths.

Meanwhile, Moechivous who also was one of end SARS promoters whose passport was seized by the immigration at the airport said she has been asked to come and pick it up.
