BREAKING: Fire Guts Jos Electricity Distribution Company Office

The headquarters of the Jos Electricity Distribution Company along Ahmadu Bello way, Jos, is on fire.

Following the incident, many parts of the city have been thrown into darkness.

It was gathered that the fire broke out on the top floor of the four-storey building about 6 pm on Friday.

The Director, Communication and Media Affairs of the company, Dr Friday Elijah, confirmed the incident saying “it is a fire incident, and as I’m talking to you the fire brigades have battled it, and we are yet to ascertain the extent of damage done.as it has been controlled.”
