#EndSARS: Buhari’s Aide Warns Nigerians
Special Adviser to President Muhammadu Buhari on New Media, Ahmad Bashir has warned Lagosians and Nigerians at large to desist from hiding under the guise of the #EndSARS protest to incite more chaos in Lagos State.
Ahmad reminded Nigerians that the defunct unit of the police force, the Special Anti-Robbery Squad, has been disbanded, thereby making the continuation of the protests a dishonest move.
The President’s aide issued this warning on Monday, December 6th, 2020 via a series of tweets from his verified Twitter handle.

If you’re truly a lover of Lagos, help to rebuild the recent unfortunate destructions, don’t be misled by hidden enemies of Lagos to cause the second phase of destruction and pain in the State. SARS is no more!

Recall that the second wave of the #EndSARS protest was billed to resume yesterday in Lagos and other major cities.
Eko Hot Blog had earlier reported that while demonstrations were recorded in other cities like Osogbo, the Lagos State Government had, in a show of force deployed security operatives to strategic locations in a bid to prevent any form of #EndSARS gatherings in the state.
