- Barcelona and Argentina Football Legend, Lionel Messi is set to become the 5th highest goalscorer in football history.
Lionel Messi added another goal to his tally of career and county goals this outgoing weekend.
EKO HOT BLOG gathered that Messi has taken his career tally to 740 goals for club and country, leaving him just 6 goals behind Ferenc Puskas who scored 746 goals in his career.
Cristiano Ronaldo now shares 2nd spot with Romario, Zlatan is also pushing for the 9th spot on the list of the highest goals scorer ever in football history.

Messi is also solidifying his place. He is currently in 6th place on that list as seen below.
Lionel Messi is 33 years of age this year and obviously still has alot more goals in those boots.
He is most definitely a future contender for the highest goals scorer in history. That will be after Ronaldo has already clinched that,I guess.
