BREAKING: FG Orders Reopening Of Four Land Borders
President Muhammadu Buhari has ordered the reopening of four of the country’s land borders.
The borders include Seme, Illela, Maigatari and Mfun.
Personal Assistant on Social Media to the President, Bashir Ahmad disclosed this in a tweet on Wednesday.

As approved by the President, four of the country’s land borders; Seme in Lagos, Illela in Sokoto, Maigatari in Jigawa and Mfun in Cross River are now opened. Others will be reopened before Dec. 31st, 2020, Finance, Budget and National Planning Minister, Zainab Ahmed discloses.

Eko Hot Blog recalls that the Federal Government had on November 25 announced that land borders would be reopened soon.
The land borders were closed since August 2019 to curtail illegal importation of drugs, small arms and agricultural products into country from neighbouring West African nations.
