We Will Rejoin Paris Climate Agreement On Day One – Biden
United States President-Elect, Joe Biden has restated his administration’s commitment to re-entering the US into the Paris Climate Agreement, which incumbent President Donald Trump formally withdrew the country from on November 4.
Biden, via a tweet late Saturday, said his administration will rejoin the Paris agreement “on day one”.
On day one, my administration will rejoin the Paris Agreement and put America back in the business of leading the world on climate change.

The Democrat will be formally sworn in as President in January 2021, following the electoral college vote certifications declaring him victor earlier this month.
As well as rejoining the Paris Agreement, the former Vice-President has pledged to spend $2 trillion on his climate plan over four years to drive down emissions.
His plans include upgrading millions of buildings to make them more energy efficient, as well as significant investment in public transport and electric vehicle manufacturing.
