Ogun: Suspected Armed Robber Nabbed By Police

Ogun State Police Command arrested a suspected armed robber, Abiodun Michael during an operation with members of his gang along Polytechnic Road, Ilaro.

The headquarters of the Ilaro Divisional Police had received a distress call which disclosed that robbers had blocked the Federal Polytechnic, Ilaro road, dispossessing the people of their assets.

The distress call is said to have prompted the DPO of Ilaro division, CSP Olayemi Jacob, to quickly mobilize his patrol team to the scene,   EKO HOT BLOG  gathered.

Seeing the policemen, the Robbers fled, but were aggressively pursued by the officers, who managed to arrest one of them.

Two locally manufactured dual-barrel guns, eight live cartridges and matching criminal charms were retrieved from the arrested suspect.

The Ogun State Police Public Relations Officer, Abimbola Oyeyemi, During the confirmation of Saturday’s incident, said Police Commissioner Edward Ajogun, ordered the suspect transferred to SCIID for investigation.
