Gov. Umahi Swears In Two New Judges, Warns Against Betraying Public Trust
Governor of Ebonyi State, David Umahi has sworn in two new judges to join state’s judiciary, urging them to uphold their oath of office.
The newly sworn in judges are Nicholas Nwode and Emmanuel Ogbunnefi.
While congratulating the appointees on their appointment, Umahi warned them against betraying the trust reposed in them by the public.

The Governor also inaugurated Vincent Awoke and Joseph Nwonumaru as members of the State Civil Service Commission and Revenue Appeal Commission and Coordinators of Development Centres in that order.
The State’s Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice, Cletus Ofoke said that the appointments are in line with legal provisions and are meant to address the shortage in manpower in the state’s judiciary.
