Edo: How We Gang-R*ped And Killed A Trader – Suspect confesses

A suspect confessed to the police that, together with members of his gang, he had robbed a shopkeeper prior to sleeping with her and murdering her in Edo.
Edo State Police Command confirmed the abominable act on Friday December 25.
The crime took place along the Evbuosa road, near Obozogbe in the state’s local Orhionmwon government when the wife was going to the market, EKO HOT BLOG gathered.
It was understood that the suspects robbed the deceased of N30,000 before dragging her into a neighbouring bush, where they turned to rape and later left it with deadly wounds that led to her death.
The local justice group reported that some people on the farm heard the woman screaming but they were unable to find her when they arrived at the scene because the suspects took her further into the bush.

The suspect later took the police and another team of investigators to the site where the woman was raped by a gang, wrapper and hair attachment were recovered.
Commander’s spokesman, Chidi Nwabuzor, said the trader’s body was deposited in the morgue for postmortem and further investigation.
In the meantime, the spokesperson assured that the suspect would be brought to justice.
