Oyo Police Intensify Efforts To Rescue Abducted Farmer — PPRO
Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), Oyo State, SP Olugbenga Fadeyi, on Wednesday, says the state police command is making frantic efforts to ensure the rescue of the farmer, Oluwole Agboola, who was reportedly abducted on Monday.
Ekohotblog gathered that Agboola who was allegedly kidnapped by six gunmen dressed in Army uniform owns a piggery and fish farm at Nagbede Village in Akinyele Local Government Area of the state.
Fadeyi through a statement mentioned that community had also intensified its efforts to complement the deployment of security operatives in the area to rescue the victim.
He further said that the Moniya Divisional Station, as well as other security agencies in the state, have commenced action upon receiving information about the kidnap.

“Search party, comprising of plainclothes, tactical police teams, vigilantes, hunters and Amotekun corps, swung into action immediately and were deployed to far and near bushes to comb the areas for possible arrest of the hoodlums and getting the abducted released,” he stated.
Fadeyi said the Commissioner of Police, Abiodun Odude, called on good-spirited members of the public to assist the security agencies with helpful information that could lead to the arrest of the suspects and the release of the victim.
