#EndSARS: Oba Of Lagos Returns To Palace Two Months After

The Oba of Lagos, Rilwan Akiolu, has returned to his palace, Iga Idungaran, Lagos Island, two months after he escaped an attack on his Palace by some hoodlums in the wake of the #EndSARS demonstrations. 

A video posted on Twitter by the Senior Special Assistant to the Lagos State Governor on Health, Oreoluwa Finnih, showed the monarch wearing a mask and dancing towards the palace in company of his entourage.

Eko Hot Blog recalls that men of the Nigerian Army had on October 21, 2020, whisked the Oba away when hoodlums, who had hijacked the #EndSARS protests, attacked his place.

The hoodlums made away with the staff of office and plundered the palace for two days.
