Messi’s Miss Creates “Jackie Chan” Death Scare On Twitter
Social media has been agog following six-time Ballon d’or winner Lionel Messi’s miss away at Huesca on Sunday evening.
Errors are made often times in the round-leather game and most pardonable but Messi’s miss was compounded by the Greatest Of All Time (G.O.A.T) appellation which has been ascribed to him coupled with the match commentators’ “Karate”, “Jackie Chan” comment after the big miss.
However, twitter users have jumped on the “Jackie Chan” trend as it has generated over 7,000 tweets in Nigeria with many expressing fear that they had thought the award-winning actor was dead when his name popped up on the trend table.
