Seven bandits in Zamfara state on Thursday surrendered their arms and join the path of peace in the state.
The bandits were received by the state Governor, Bello Matawelle at the government house in Gusau, the state capital.
Speaking with Newsmen, the governor expressed excitement that the dialogue and reconciliation process initiated by his administration is yielding results.
According to the Governor, more bandits have indicated interest to repent from their unholy acts.

He noted that his administration will continue to use kinetic and non kinetic approaches in addressing security challenges that have bedeviled the state for almost a decade
