LASG Reduces LASU’s Tuition Fees

Lagos State Government on Friday has reduced the tuition fees of Lagos State University (LASU).

The Office of the Special Adviser to the Governor on Education made this known via Twitter.

This is coming after students of the school protested over the hike in tuition fees by the institution’s authorities.

In its reaction, SA Education tweeted, “Flash: Lagos State government reduces tuition fee for students of Lagos State University.”

The LASU management had last December increased the tuition fees for fresh students from N25, 000 to N67, 048.50, representing 168 per cent hike.
