Earlier this morning, the official Twitter account of the Economic Financial Crime Commission (EFCC) declared a Hon. Simon Oshi wanted.
According to the EFCC, Simon Oshi is wanted in a case of obtaining money under false pretence and issuance of a Dud Cheque. A Dud Cheque It is an empty cheque that has no monetary value as no money can pass through it, EKO HOT BLOG gathered.
Born on the 10th of September 1992, Simon Oshi is currently currently 28-years-old. He hails from Enugu state Aninri Local Government area to be precise. He is a philanthropist, a politician and a owner of a record label known as Prolifick Ent Concept
In 2019, Hon. Simon Oshi contested under the umbrella of the People’s Democratic Party for a seat in the House of Representatives making him the youngest candidate for the House of Rep before he stepped down.
In 2019, he also emerged the youngest candidate vying for Chairmanship of Aninri LGA.
Simon Oshi has won numerous awards in recognition of His humanitarian and charitable efforts including a Merrit Youth Icon Of The Year award. Until he was declared wanted by EFCC, he was regarded as icon to emulate.
Obtaining money under false pretence and issuance of a Dud Cheque is a criminal offence in Nigeria. Hon. Simon could be prosecuted by EFCC and spend years in prison for both crime.
