It was a moment of tributes and adulations on Thursday, February 25th, 2021 as those who felt the richly impactful life of Alhaja Mulikat Onibon, the Iyaloja-General of Epe Division, poured out their hearts in praise of a mother whose devotion to helping others was without compare.

“Mama is not selfish but contented. The Hajj slot as much as it was given to her, she didn’t hand it to any of her children, she hands it to us in the market. She would appeal to us to allow those who haven’t had the opportunity to be considered”, she stated.
She prayed that whoever would replace her should be gifted with similar qualities of wisdom and compassion.
Also, Prince Olowofela Oyekan, Secretary-General, Association of Commodity Market Women and Men of Nigeria, Epe Division Chapter, while speaking with Eko hot blog described Alhaja Onibon as a compassionate and charitable woman who held everyone’s best interests at heart.
“Mama led us with her love, support, hospitality and caring heart.
In Epe Division, I don’t believe there’s anyone that can match mama’s leadership accomplishments. The shoes she left behind is too big for anyone to put on”, he said.
