Crotone have sacked their Coach, Giovanni Stroppa after failing to give good results from his Italian Serie A matches.
He played a significant role as the head coach in the Promotion of Crotone from Serie B last season to the top league.
The team is currently in the relegation zone with 12 points having played 24 matches managing only 3 wins with 3 draws and 18 defeats. The catalyst to Stroppa’s sack has been loosing 6 consecutive league matches.
On the other hand, Rennes manager has stepped down. Julien Stephan resigned following his underperformance in his recent matches.
However he made a notable achievement having led Rennes to the Champions League for the first time in their history.
The club also announced that Philippe Bizeul who was Stephan assistant will be the acting manager.
The France team is currently at the 9th position with 38 points having lost 3 league matches in a row.
